The project scope includes extending the structural life of the runway, enhancing current and future performance, and reducing operational impacts and maintenance costs. Additionally, the runway will feature a pavement reconstruction with an asphalt overlay, drainage improvements, and new electrical infrastructure. The updated runway will feature new lighting, improved signs and updates to its deicing infrastructure.
